2019 has been a turbulent year for many, with the political unrest and economic uncertainty that we have seen over the 12 months. However, amongst all this the Monolution team has achieved one of our best years since our conception with a 19% increase in sales compared to 2018. Having reflected on our successes this year, we have decided to expand our brand, the first stage of which will see a new website launching in early 2020. Moreover, we would like to share our success with a local charity and we will be donating £50 for every live customer during December to the Piam Brown Ward. This will add to the £3,600 we raised in September after five of the team competed in the gruelling obstacle race, Tough mudder.
Piam Brown is the Wessex regional children’s cancer ward, based on the top floor of Southampton Children’s Hospital. Children come from Hampshire, Wiltshire, Dorset, Surrey, Sussex, the Isle of Wight and the Channel Islands to receive care at the unit. The Ward caters for children from birth to 16 years old, so demand on their resources is huge. They treat all types of cancer, with Leukaemia being the most common. Every year they care for around 120 new patients.
All that remains for us to do now, is to wish all of our customers a very merry Christmas and prosperous New Year.
